Who We Are

We Are Problematic is a community‑driven organization built for real people facing real challenges — the kind that don’t fit neatly into forms, systems, or checkboxes.

We exist because life gets messy. Income changes. Support systems fall apart. Families struggle. Young people try to figure out adulthood with no roadmap. And too often, the people who need the most help are the ones who get overlooked, judged, or pushed aside.

We don’t look away from that. We step into it.

Our Mission

Our mission is to strengthen communities by providing access to essential resources, mentorship, and financial education. We empower individuals and families to build stability, develop independence, and create long‑term change that lasts beyond temporary relief.

Our Purpose

It’s simple: to support individuals and families who may be navigating hardship, instability, or transition—with dignity, respect, and zero judgment.

We focus on the needs that often go unmet:

• Food insecurity

• Lack of mentorship and guidance

• Financial stress and limited financial education

• Youth and young adults trying to build a stable future

• Families doing everything “right” but still struggling

We call ourselves problematic because we embrace the truth: People’s lives are complicated. Their stories are layered. Their needs don’t always fit the system. And that shouldn’t disqualify them from getting help.

We believe in meeting people where they are — not where society thinks they should be.
